This Blog is a humble tribute to one of the finest souls I have had the good fortune to know for several years. He is no more and like his vast circle of friends, I am also saddened on his untimely demise on 10 Oct 2009.
Ultimately we remember people for their good deeds and actions long after they are gone.
It is good to remember them and be inspired to carry on with their legacy.
The one thing I remember the most is his childlike smile and innocence.He was always cheerful, smiling and cool. Even when he was holding the high office, he was as so unassuming , always helpful and reaching out to people, his subordinates and colleagues.And he had full of zest for life and the finer things in life . He had cultivated fine taste for art , culture music, food and showed us all how we can live our lives well .
I remember how he celebrated with style his son -Sanjay's wedding. and the preparations he made for various ceremonies /functions. He even sent me a suit length for a tailor made suit that he wanted me to wear for the Baraat/ wedding !
I do remember him fondly and sadly I was not in touch for last so many years since I hardly visited Delhi and he also shifted to DLF which is a bit out of way to travel on short visits.
Thus this blog I convey these feelings to feelings to his children Sanjay and Sandeep and their mother . God bless his family for all the love and care they took of him .
